"Within the last year, I have become a new patient of Dr. Richard Dennis and the team at Saratoga Smiles. I am finally pain free for the first time in many months. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with another local dentist - after spending $2,000.00 for new dentures that didn't fit properly, caused me lots of pain and looked terrible, I sought the advice of several friends, who recommended that I see Dr. Dennis for a second opinion. "I can’t help but smile at the truth in the name. For the past 14 years I have been a customer of this local dentistry practice. They have provided me with outstanding personalized dental care of the highest standards. Along the way, they have coached and educated me on how to take care of dental issues to prevent future problems. As the economy has challenged me along with many other people, this is greatly appreciated.
First of all, when I entered the office today I was entreated to a greeting and a famous Saratoga Smile. While waiting to see the hygienist who would be cleaning my teeth, I was able to see “The Earth” an acclaimed educational film that was playing on the video monitor. Today my hygienist filled me on what I was going to have done and then as the cleaning went on the status of my teeth. Along the way she updated me on the digital radiology screens that will be installed shortly to allow better viewing by the patient and doctor. I also learned of other customer oriented improvements, including the addition of Lake Ave. Dental, a separate practice set up to take customers with Medicaid. As the father of a son with disabilities, I appreciate knowing this, as quality care is often difficult to find.
While stopping at the desk, making payment and checking the status of current coverage by my dental provider I could see how the billing person was making sure that that all information was correct. I was then able to get back to the waiting room for a cup of gourmet coffee, before leaving. As I sat there further enthralled with the beauty of the earth shown on the screen other patients were efficiently being treated. Student - aged patients were equally excited about the interesting educational program that we were able to see.
I thank Saratoga Smiles and Dr. Dennis for his vision, concern and skill along with the staff for providing the highest level of customer care and for always making my dentist visits the “high point” of my day. When I enter this community based business I feel the power of “Saratoga Smiles” and am grateful for being part of their family of patients. "
