In addition to following the highest standards of preventive oral healthcare, our hygienists- Trish, Terri and Rachel have extensive education and training in non-surgical periodontics. Trish and Terri have been with the practice for over 12 years each and completed the first anesthesia course offered in NYS for hygienists. Dr. Dennis’ assistants, Brea and Heather, have successfully completed the NYS Dental Assistant Licensing Course, and have combined experience in dental assisting of over 30 years. Patients appreciate not only their knowledge but especially the compassion that both assistants show them. The administrative team, Jamie and Patty, are masters in customer service and multitasking. Patty came to us 3 years ago with over 30 years experience in dentistry and with expertise in all aspects of dental administration. Jamie has been with the practice since 1995 as Practice Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to the doctor. She is primarily involved with new patients, treatment coordination and scheduling. We are all proud to be working with Dr. Dennis and are confident that you will find his skill and artistry in cosmetic dentistry second to none. We strive on a daily basis to deliver the same level of expertise from the whole dental team. Saratoga Smiles Biographies  Jamie has been Practice Coordinator of Saratoga Smiles since 1995, and is considered the heart and soul of the practice. Her love for life and the people in her life – family, friends, co-workers and patients is evident in everything she does. Team mates and patients depend on her for creative solutions to difficult challenges. As a new patient, Jamie will be your guide and advocate from your initial phone call through the completion of your dental treatment. Jamie holds a BS in Business Management and Economics, and is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers and the Speaking and Consulting Network – an international organization dedicated to promoting excellence and cohesiveness in the dental profession. Outside of dentistry, she is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters and two grandchildren. Other interests include traveling, cooking, reading, writing and cross country skiing. Trish has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for more years than she is willing to admit and has been at Saratoga Smiles since 1994. She has an enormous amount of experience and embraces the explosion in dental sciences she is witnessing. Dental materials and techniques have revolutionized cosmetic dentistry and the impact of oral disease on overall health and well-being is changing the way the medical community is treating patients. Trish is passionate about her profession and loves to inform anyone who will listen about these breakthroughs. Patients look forward to their visits with Trish because of the way she pampers them and adds humor to their day. She grew up in New Jersey and moved to the capital district in 1981. Her favorite “sport” is floating down the Battenkill River in her backyard. Terri has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1984 and has worked part time at Saratoga Smiles for the past 12 years. Her bubbly personality and positive attitude promote a lively atmosphere in the office and help anxious patients feel more at ease. Her love for beautiful smiles and the positive affect they have on peoples’ lives is evident in her enthusiasm for the “Zoom” whitening procedure she provides. She is proud to participate in Dr. Dennis’ “Smile Makeovers” and to play an integral part in helping patients maintain that smile with personalized instruction. She has a firm commitment to the highest standard of care for her patients and ongoing education and training to stay on the leading edge of her profession. When she’s not spending time with her husband and 3 children you will likely find her rowing on Fish Creek. Rachel is the most recent addition to Saratoga Smiles, joining the team in 2007. She is very proud to work in conjunction with Dr. Dennis’ excellence in delivering the quality care needed to improve patients’ overall health and happiness with their smiles. She strives to help her patients achieve optimal oral health and patients frequently express their appreciation for her thoroughness. She takes the time to provide individualized treatment and home care recommendations for each of her patients. Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, daughters Abigail and Christin, and is expecting a baby girl in August. Her hobbies include cooking and entertaining, home improvements, and raising family pets. She is always happy to spend her work day with the wonderful patients and outstanding team at Saratoga Smiles. Heather has been in the dental field for nineteen years and with Saratoga Smiles since 2004. Patients comment about how relaxed and comfortable they feel when she is caring for them. As a Licensed Dental Assistant, she enjoys helping patients achieve their dental goals and experience the difference it makes in their lives. She has a true passion for quality dentistry that is evident in her knowledge, confidence and professionalism. “It is very rewarding to see patient’s confidence boosted by giving them a nice smile.” In her free time, she enjoys playing golf with her husband Ken. Brea has been a team member of Saratoga Smiles since 1997. Her compassion for people led her to a career in dentistry and the reward of helping people achieve more confident smiles has kept her here. Patients appreciate the undivided attention she gives them and her soft spoken manner and professionalism. She has earned her degree as a Licensed Dental Assistant and continues to avail herself to education courses in many aspects dentistry. Brea enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Ana, family and friends. Her hobbies include biking, dancing and spending time at the beach. Patty began her dental career in High School filing charts and confirming appointments after school. She worked her way to Chairside Dental Assistant and Receptionist before becoming Office Manager of the practice she remained at until she moved from Long Island in 2005. Patty has been a valued member of the Saratoga Smiles team for over three years and feels fortunate to be a part of such a unique and talented group of professionals with such a passion for quality dental care. Patty will always greet you with a warm welcome to our practice whether you’re on the phone or here in person, and goes out of her way to assist patients and team members in any way she can. As an experienced Administrator, she helps patients with questions regarding scheduling, insurance and billing, and spends a good deal of energy keeping this “unique” group of team members organized. Patty is married with two sons. She enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, boating, fishing and cross country skiing. |
